SCI.5.6.C
Force, motion, and energy. The student knows that energy occurs in many forms and can be observed in cycles, patterns, and systems. The student is expected to: demonstrate that light travels in a straight line until it strikes an object and is reflected or travels through one medium to another and is refracted.
Partially meets:
4-PS3-2
Make observations to provide evidence that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electric currents.
4-PS4-2
Develop a model to describe that light reflecting from objects and entering the eye allows objects to be seen. Assessment does not include knowledge of specific colors reflected and seen, the cellular mechanisms of vision, or how the retina works.
