Description
Earth’s surface is constantly changing. In this unit, students will learn how the Colorado Plateau was formed and how mesas, buttes, spires, and arches are formed through geoscience processes like weathering and erosion. Students will also learn how these changes are connected to the formation of new sedimentary rock. Students will see that the Earth’s surface is always changing.
