This unit will help you teach your science class about the parts of a flower and their structure and function.
Students will learn by dissecting a flower! The focus of the lab is on the structure and function of the parts of a plant.

The unit begins with a slide show to show students what to look for and includes a detailed lesson plan, lab plan and direction, lab pages, follow-up pages, and answer keys for everything!

I used this for my after-school science club. I have a multi-age group. This was a great lab and had really clear directions that were easy to follow. My students were engaged. The slide show was helpful to show them what to look for. Lots of helpful hints for finding the right flowers. Students were definitely engaged and it worked well for multiple ages.

I grabbed some day lilies from my neighbors garden and we did this easy lab. Students loved it and the slide show was helpful.
