Use this unit to help teach your upper elementary or middle school science class about seals and sea lions!
This is a no-prep informational text reading unit on seals and sea lions. Students will learn about the animal adaptations that sea lions and seals have while practicing their reading informational text skills.

This informational text unit includes phenomena, four pages of informational text, a suggested schedule, two pages of comprehension questions, a true and false page, crossword puzzle and word search, CERs, and answer keys for everything!
Multiple science concepts are addressed, including differences between seals and sea lions, adaptations of seals and sea lions, taxonomy, behavior, and the ocean ecosystem.

We do a marine unit and the end of each school year. This unit was perfect for learning about these fascinating animals! Great reading passages.
